Shipping Policy

Made to order takes time — here’s how long, how it ships, and how you’ll track it.

This Shipping Policy applies to parts purchased through keptrunning.com. The Site and the “Kept Running” brand are owned and operated by Avocado Orbit LLC (“we,” “us,” “our”).

1. Made-to-order lead times

Most of our parts are remanufactured to order — we produce them after your order is confirmed, not from stock. That means the biggest part of the timeline is production lead time, not transit. Typical production lead time is 2-6 weeks, depending on the part, materials, quantity, and current shop load. We confirm an estimated lead time in writing with your order, and we email you when your part enters production and again when it ships.

2. Shipping methods and carriers

Once your part is made and inspected, we ship via established carriers such as UPS, FedEx, and USPS, choosing the method that best fits the size, weight, and urgency of the order. Heavy or oversized parts may ship by freight. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout or quoted with your order and are separate from the part price.

3. Where we ship (domestic / U.S. focus)

We primarily ship to addresses within the United States. We do not ship to P.O. boxes for freight items. International or non-U.S. shipments may be available by request on a case-by-case basis — contact us before ordering, as additional lead time, carrier options, duties, and taxes may apply, and those are your responsibility.

4. Delays

Lead times and delivery dates are good-faith estimates, not guarantees. Because these are custom, obsolete parts, timelines can shift due to material availability, machining capacity, quality holds, carrier delays, weather, or other events outside our control. If we expect a meaningful delay, we’ll let you know and give you an updated estimate. We are not liable for losses caused by shipping or production delays; see our Terms of Sale.

5. Tracking

When your order ships, we’ll email you a tracking number and carrier (where the carrier provides one) so you can follow it to your door. If tracking hasn’t updated or a package appears lost or damaged in transit, contact us right away at support@keptrunning.com and we’ll help you file a claim and, where appropriate, arrange a replacement. Damaged shipments are handled under our Return & Refund Policy.
